General description:

Microcircuit KM155ID1 (SN74141) is a decoder, it is used to control the digits of the gas-discharge indicator.
Decoders are medium-integrated microcircuits designed to convert binary code into a logic level voltage appearing in the output wire.
They output the levels whose decimal numbers corresponds to the binary code, for example, input code 1001 should make wire number 9 active.
In all other decoder wires, the signals should be zero in this case. Many decoders can be used as multiplexers.

Decoder KM155ID1 (SN74141) use as input four-digit code A0 – A3 (active levels – low) and outputs active low level voltage through one of ten outputs 0-9.
The number of the selected output here corresponds to the decimal equivalent of the input code.
Codes equivalent to numbers from 10 to 15 are not displayed by the decoder at the outputs.
