Are INS-1 lamps required to function

    Hello,
    I have the IN-12 kit with the NCM109 1.1 board. When I plug it in, nothing happens. I ordered the kit without the Nixie tubes since I bought 6x IN-12 tubes elsewhere before knowing about this site, and only have 6 nixies with no INS-1 tubes. My question is, are the INS-1 tubes required for the board and remaining nixies to function?
    Also, are INS-1 lamps available for purchase? I did not find them on the site as a separate item.

    To answer my own question, no they are not required. D15 had a bad connection. I am still interested in the INS-1 lamps if you sell them.
