    On my NCS314 v2.2 shield, there is a 2-pole white JST connector next to the IR receiver. It can be seen in THIS IMAGE, under the centre Nixie displaying “6”.

    It measures a steady 5.0 Volts. Can I assume that this can be used to power additional sensors, or was it placed with a different application in mind?
