I have a very similar problem to this one: https://gra-afch.com/forums/topic/help-nc314-2-2-starts-up-but-no-tubes/ except I have a DIY kit with board version 2.3 with a 12V 2A power supply

LED’s light up, pink panther sound can be heard, but the tubes stay off. FW sais:

    Firmware version: 1.940
    NCS314 for HW 2.x HV5122 or HV5222
    Start Test
    000000
    111111
    222222
    333333
    444444
    555555
    666666
    777777
    888888
    999999
    019400
    019400
    Temp. sensor not found.
    DS3231_T=29
    Stop Test

Can you provide some hints how to debug this. Do you have reference pictures / voltages for v2.3

    Thanks a lot!

    Hello.

You should first check the Power Supply.
If Tubes do not light up it means the Board do not receive enough power.
    Please do that first.

I tried that – the supply stays at 12V (quite precisely) while the tubes _should_ show 111111…999999.

Q1 (the power transistor) seems to get hot very quickly, and C15 (the big capacitor) seems to warm up faster than it should

So can you provide some voltage reference points as in https://photos.app.goo.gl/Cz9PnqB14MxTdhIy1 for the v2.3 board, too?
