    Hi all,

I have just completed two of these awesome kits and I’m having an overheating issue with both boards. The boards both work 100% with no other issues.

My problem is with the high voltage circuitry, L1 get very hot. Q1 and L2 get warm but L1 is getting very hot to point were I’m nervous to leave it on all night without burning down my house!

TP4 is fully adjustable, I have tried setting it a 170/180/190 Volts.

I would really like to know if these components get warm/hot for anyone else?

Attached is an imagery of the circuit in question, in the event I place a component wrong on both my boards.

    Try to check resistors R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6.
They should be 24 kOhm (marked as 243).
